Agent settings
Open Blixel's Settings and choose Agents.
Requests from other people
- When someone sends your agent a request: Ask me each time (the
default) shows you each request first. Deliver directly sends it to your
agent right away. - Time to answer a request: 1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes. The default is 2.
Requests you send to your own agent never ask.
To change this for one connection only, right-click ✦ Agent and use
Requests under My agent, or in Claude Code connect with
/blixel:connect ask or /blixel:connect direct.
Message to your agent
Each request reaches your agent as a message. By default the message is the
request alone. To add more, write a template with these variables:
| Variable | Becomes |
|---|---|
{{handoff}} |
The request, as sent or as you edited it. Required. |
{{sender}} |
The sender's name. |
{{room}} |
The room's name. |
{{source}} |
How it was made: spoken, typed, spoken and typed, or edited. |
For example, this template:
{{sender}} asked in {{room}} ({{source}}): {{handoff}}
gives:
Alice asked in Design review (spoken): Add a test for the reconnect case in ConductorTests.
Preview shows the result as you type. A template without {{handoff}}
isn't saved. Claude Code gets the message as one line, with line breaks turned
into spaces. Codex gets it as written.
Keyboard shortcut
Record a shortcut that starts listening for the agent you picked. Press it again
to send. It needs ⌘, ⌃ or ⌥. There is none by default.
